Hello beautiful friends and family!
I have big news to share!! I have been accepted into Iris Ministries Harvest School in Mozambique! The Harvest School is a place to be trained up and used for the Lord’s work in evangelism and missions. Over the last year the Lord has led me on a journey of opening my heart to the mission field. Last year in the first week of July, Holy Spirit gave a very vivid vision of me in Africa. Since then, on three separate occasions, the Lord confirmed this vision. Through these experiences, I feel called by God to the mission field in Africa. I have such joy and anticipation for what the Lord will do in me, as well as the children and adults I will get to love on. While In Mozambique I will meet with other students for outreach and other practical mission’s activities such as mercy ministry, visiting the hospital, local prison, and village outreach. Each weekend two outreach teams of students prepare and go out into the bush to save the lost, pray for the sick and feed the hungry.
The organization I will be going with is Iris Global. Iris Global is a Christian organization committed to expressing a living and tangible response to those commandments that Jesus called greatest: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength,” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Iris Global exists to participate in bringing the Kingdom of God to earth in all its aspects, but most especially through serving the very poor: the destitute, the lost, the broken and the forgotten.
It is with this in mind, that I ask you to partner with me in prayer and in sponsorship to raise $12,000. This money will go towards the cost of the school ($3000), my flights ($6000 for multiple flights. ), my extended outreach mission ($2000) and other expenses such as food,water, material for school. I hope that you will prayerfully consider sponsoring me. You can give by donating on my website GoFundme. I need to raise this amount by August 24. I will be leaving September 28 and returning December 30.
