Aloha Guys,
My name is Jonathan Lata, I'm 28 and live in Maui, Hawaii. Just recently, I was invited to join the US Freediving team 2014. It is a great honor and has always been a dream of mine! Ever since I could swim, I've been in the ocean freediving and holding my breath.
This year the competition is being held in Sardina, Italy. It's kind of far away and I would really appreciate your help in getting me there.
A little bit about me - I won the US Freediving competition last year and came 3rd this year. I am ranked 1st for Static breath holding and 2nd for Constant Weight in the United States by AIDA this year. Constant weight is the discipline where the athlete swims down and up under his or her own power, and Static breath hold is when the athlete lays face down motionless in the water holding their breath as long as possible.
