Cesars New years beach run for BLGC

I am raising money by running 17km on the sand from Sandbanks to Hengistbury Head. This is to raise awareness of volunteer lifesaving clubs in particular Bournemouth Lifeguard Corps who educate members about the importance of  water safety including cold water shock. 
I have always wanted to run a marathon and am using this as an introduction to long distance running. I am running on the sand due to my passion for lifesaving and the beautiful views of Poole Bay.
