Cervix and Breast Cancer and Family Support
Donation protected
Hello everyone
It is with great sadness that I come to communicate to all of you who helped us
Unfortunately the doctors have given sentence to my wife
Saying that she has little time to live
It is very sad to hear them talk like this as if the human being has an expiration date
As long as my wife is breathing there's a chance she's a woman of great faith
And we still have hope for a miracle
She is in palliative care at Galway Hospice
I want to thank you all for your financial help and I will close this account because I know you have already made donations
On behalf of my son and Marisa we are very grateful for all this help
We ask for prayers.
Hi, my name is João Carlos. My wife, our nine months old baby and myself recently arrived in Ireland.
My wife was just diagnosed with advanced-stage cancer on the cervix and breast.
We have a nine months old baby, and we are in a complicated situation as we do not know many people around and have no one from our family to support us here.
We are also facing issues with rentals; since we arrived, we have shared houses because rentals are overpriced, and there aren't many around. Thus we are about to be on the street if I can't pay for our rent.
Since we arrived, I have worked for a grocery shop in Tuam, but unfortunately, I had to stop working to take care of our son, as my wife is hospitalized in Galway.
We need financial help to buy nappy and milk formula for our baby, as well as to cope with our current room rental expenses and, last but not least, my wife's cancer treatment that is about to start. I also have no car, so have to pay fo transportation to get from Tuam to Galway hospital daily.
So far, we haven't got any government benefits, we currently do not know how to apply, and it will take time for approval if we get any.
We are good people and were caught unprepared. I kindly ask for help; any support is very welcomed.

Thanks a million,
Joao Carlos
