<div>Our parents, Lakshmi Tummala and Venkata Veera Nageswara Rao Tummala, were traveling from Chicago to Delhi on July 21st, 2025, on Air India flight AI 126. During the flight, our mother suddenly fell ill. Despite medical care from onboard doctors and emergency landing in Istanbul, she was admitted to a local hospital in critical condition. After weeks of treatment, she sadly passed away on August 24th.
