Central West Farmers Drought Appeal

Australian Farmers are doing it tough - real tough.

This drought is one of the worst in our history and Farmers need our help now.

Imagine seeing your stock starving in front of you? Getting weaker by the day, then eventually dying?

Imagine having no water for your animals nor for your personal needs at home?

I can't imagine any of that.

These people are the backbone of our country and they shouldn't have to suffer this way. 

My name is Chris, I live in Shell Cove by the sea and I don't do it tough - in fact I'm living the dream. 

I shower every day, I can remember the last time I washed my hair, I have everything I need and I don't have to watch my livelihood deteriorate in front of me. I certainly don't have to watch animals die - or worse.

I am grateful everyday for what the Farmers in this country provide for myself and my family.

I have always loved the Central West area of NSW. In recent years I have visited Condobolin and met many strong, resilient people whom I now call friends. 

I have created this go fund me to raise money for Farmers and their families in and around (but not limited to) the Condobolin district.

The monies raised will be used to:

Deliver bales of hay directly to farmers within the area.
Provide food and non perishable items to local families.
Provide cash donations to families.

I will be completely transparent with anyone who wants to know about this process and will speak to Condobolin locals to ascertain who is in dire need of these donations. 

Any excess money will then be moved on to other areas in the Central West.

These funds are needed urgently. I would like to start ordering bales of hay as soon as possible to help families that have no feed left for their animals. 

I will be visiting Condobolin in 3 weeks so will be able to update you on our results. At this time I will also deliver food hampers and cash donations to the local farmers that need them.

So come on Australia - I know there are lots of great people out there who just need to be shown how to help our farmers.
