Central Coast Coronavirus Drive Thru Testing

This is an initiative that has been running for the past three weeks, between local health providers to facilitate enhanced speed of Coronavirus screening for our local community.  The community has done a fabulous job of isolating and helping to keep our local statistics manageable for our local health services.  We need to keep this going to ensure we continue to protect the most vulnerable members of our community.   All patients who are tested at this drive through testing site, need to meet eligibility criteria and have a referral from their GP.   This testing site was costing approximately $1000 per day to run.   As of two weeks ago, NSW Health are helping out with a nurse, thank you so very much!   We have been able to reduce our running cost down to about $710.  This cost covers our two additional staff on site, marquee, demountable and the onsite facilities we need to operate this space.  The more we raise the longer we can keep it running.  We are hoping to raise enough funds to keep this running until 17th April, to assist in helping to flatten that curve.  Any funds remaining will be donated to an appropriate local not for profit.  Thank you for your help in assisting the Central Coast Community work together to fight this virus!
