Celina's Peaceful Rest

"There is no foot print too small to leave an imprint on this world"
This is very true. Heaven recently gained a twirling, smiling, giggling angel. She is no longer in pain. Celina was one of our preschool students. A very brave one! In her too short time on Earth, we were lucky enough to have her shine her light at our school. Words cannot describe this vibrant little one. SO full of and in love with life, for someone that did not have the benefit of a long one. She was small but mighty! She was a daughter, sister, student, and friend. She seemed to live the saying "life is but a fleeting moment so do not waste a second on something that doesn't make you smile". She filled her life with dancing, singing, laughing and learning. Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not.
She began her final rest 7/17/17. This after a long, hard battle with Cancer. Her parents put all of their time and resources into caring for her, including pain management and other expenses not covered by insurance (which they pay for out of pocket). On top of losing their little girl, they are hit with an enormous expense to put her to rest. I am working with the Dept. of Public Health as well as the hospital and hospice social workers. This fundraiser will hopefully put a dent in the shocking cost of saying goodbye.
Our school community will go forward with Celina's joy and wonder in our hearts. May we teach and learn with her spirit at our backs, on our minds, and in our hearts. She is the little girl every teacher hopes to have the opportunity to educate, and to know. The funds are critical before July 30th, as that is the day planned to return her body to the earth. Thank you in advance for any amount you can offer, or if you could please simply share this.
