Hi there!
My name is Morgan Gray, and i am a local artist from Loveland, Colorado. I am looking for donations today, to help pay for a series of murals here in Loveland. The paintings will be going onto the side of local Record store, Downtown Sound, on East 4th Street.
The collection of paintings is titled, "A Celebration of Music". The art will be done in 3 different sessions over the next couple months. The 3 paintings will be side by side, spanning the entire side wall of Downtown Sound(about 100 ft long when project is completed in full). The whole idea behind the series, is to honor and recognize all of the wonderful local musicians, who dedicate their lives to writing and performing. No city would be complete without these amazing people.
The first round of paintings will be starting in mid June of 2020. The photo you see included represents the first installment. It is a Jazz band done in cool colors. Round 2 of painting (happening july of 2020, concept drawings coming soon) will be of an orchestra, done in medium tones- greens, yellows. And the 3rd round of paintings will be done of a rock band (to be painted fall of this year) will be in warm colors.
By the end of the project the whole wall will be painted in array of different types of musicians!
But we need Your help!!! With such a big project to tackle over the next couple months (the wall is over 100 ft long) I need the funds to do it! So far we have Raised a total of $6,146 from 2 different sponsors, and are looking for an additional $6,000. This covers everything from materials, compensating helpers, to artists time.
Every donation at $75 or more will be put into a drawing for a Custom vinyl record hand painted and framed by, Morgan Gray. There will be 2 records that are painted and donated to auction. We also have a gift card from Downtown Sound, that will be be put into a drawing for anyone who contributes a $50 donation or more. Drawing winners will be announced October
