Celebration of Life- Junee Peneux

On August 16th, I got a call that I was not expecting and would never be ready for.
My loving mother, Junee Peneux, had been hospitalized due to unknown causes and was not expected to make it.
As it turns out, my mother is suffering from a condition called ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) caused by complications from food poisoning.
This past month has been extremely difficult, both my mother and I have been fighting with everything within us. Unfortunately, we have reached the end and there is nothing left medically to do to help save my mom's life.
Anyone who knows Junee knows how loving, hard-working, and joyous she is. Anything she could to help someone else, she has never hesitated to give what she could. I can't express my gratitude enough for all she's done for me and her granddaughter.
No one is ever prepared to bury their mother.
My mother did everything she could to set me up for success in case this moment ever came. Unfortunately, the insurance company has made this process more difficult than it has to be. And it still won't cover everything to help my family find some financial peace throughout this unimaginable time.
So, I am requesting donations from family, friends, and other kind souls to raise $5,000 to help cover end of life costs for my mother.
The money will be used to cover costs directly related to this situation, including funeral arrangements and hospital costs.
I would like to thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness. Your words, presence, and prayers have truly helped keep me afloat this past month and will continue to do so during my healing process.
I would also like to urge you to reflect on my experience and use it as a lesson for your own lives. Be as prepared as possible. Love your family each and every day. Let them know it too. And give thanks for each day of your life, it's truly a blessing.
