Celebration of Life: Judy Stumpf

 
Let us tell you about our mother. She was a women of strength, courage, and joy. Anybody who knew her, knew this from the beginning. She went through so much pain in her life- countless surgeries, multiple comas, cancer, no spleen or gallbladder, and a brain injury- yet she had survived and thrived through it all.  We are writing this to let you know, last Monday- March 26, 2018- she passed away. Her body could no longer survive the pain that her soul had pushed through. It was one of the hardest moments in our lives, telling the nurse to stop treatment, giving her the best care possible and leaving her in no pain in those last moments. Our mother always said her heart was the strongest part of her body. And that morning it beat until it could no more. 

She was a beautiful woman who took care of her children, all of them (you know who you are!), and lived life as best she could even in the condition she was in. Volunteering in her community, going to church, and supporting each and every person in her life with every fiber of her being. Whether that was making food, providing shelter, being a sounding board, or a shoulder to cry on. She never gave up giving anything she could to anyone in need - and truly without asking for anything in return.

Her love for us was unbearable and honest. We loved her so much and writing this seems unimaginable. Yet, we write this knowing she will always be here for us. 

This Gofundme is being created because my mom was never a wealthy individual, and neither are we. And for those of  you who know us Stumpf's, know  we never ask for a helping hand. Yet, today we must ask - not for us - for her. We are hoping to raise money to give her the best celebration of life possible- to honor her beauty and strength, and to remember the good times we've shared. So, please help spread the word and her love.

She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, a woman of beauty, strength, wisdom, kindness, and most of all joy. She was you. She was us - and everything in between. We loved her, and you would have to. 

She always said, "Every cloud has a silver lining".
With every breath we take from here on out, we vow to continue to search and aim for that. Help us make it shine just a little brighter.
