Celebración de Vida de Silvia Castillo
Nuestra hermosa madre, Silvia Castillo, falleció el 8 de enero. Ella perdió la vida debido a complicaciones de Covid. Nuestro padre, Armando, también está en cuidados intensivos de Covid y pudo estar a su lado en sus últimos momentos. Estamos más que agradecidos por el tiempo que las enfermeras y el personal nos permitieron estar ahí mirándola desde la ventana y todo lo que hicieron para que nuestro padre pudiera despedirse. Los momentos más felices de nuestra madre fueron con toda su familia y amigos. ¡Le encantaba sonreír, reír, cantar y bailar! Realmente tuvo un impacto y le dio mucho amor a todos los que conoció. Ella era la vanguardia de nuestra familia; y no hay duda de que la extrañaremos para siempre y apreciaremos los recuerdos que tenemos de ella. Como familia, queremos decir lo agradecidos que estamos por todas las oraciones y condolencias que hemos recibido. Como todos estamos tristes y con el corazón roto, le pedimos a todos que recuerden los buenos momentos que compartieron con ella y su hermosa sonrisa. Muchos han preguntado cómo y si podrían ayudar a aliviar la carga, y aunque nuestros padres ya se habían preparado para este momento pagando los arreglos del funeral, todavía tendremos facturas médicas para nuestros padres. Nuestro padre está estable y sigue luchando por salir pronto, pero aún se desconoce el camino hacia la recuperación para él. Realmente apreciamos y estamos muy agradecidos por la gran familia y amigos que tenemos que caminar con nosotros en este momento tan difícil. Dios los bendiga.
Our beautiful mother, Silvia Castillo, passed away on January 8th. She lost her life due to complications from Covid. Our father, Armando, is also in the Covid ICU unit and was able to be by her side in her final moments. We are beyond grateful for the time the nurses and staff allowed us to be there watching her from the window and everything they did to make it possible for our dad to be able to say goodbye. Our mother’s most happiest moments were around all her family and friends. She loved to smile, laugh, sing and dance! She truly made an impact and gave so much love to everyone she met. She was the forefront of our family; and there is no doubt that we will forever miss her and cherish the memories we have of her. As a family, we want to say how grateful we are of all the prayers and condolences we have gotten. As we are all saddened and heart broken, we urge everyone to remember the good times you shared with her and her beautiful smile! Many have asked how and if they could help ease the burden, and although our parents had prepared for this moment already by paying for their funeral arrangements we will still have medical bills for both our parents. Our dad is stable and still fighting to get out soon, but the road to recovery for him is still unknown. We truly appreciate and are so thankful for the great family and friends we have to walk with us in this very difficult time. God bless.
