Bonnie Hendrie O'Reilly
12 May 1985 - 14 May 2019
Our beautiful angel Bonnie O'Reilly has left this earth, but her spirit lives on. Having known Bonnie all her life here on earth, she has left an indelible print on my, and many other hearts. Her humble ways will forever be known. Bonnie contracted breast cancer in her mid-late twenties, having bounced back then to later again be re-diagnosed mid 2017 where she had a breast removed. In true Bonnie spirit, this was just a minor setback for this super courageous being. And she did overcome it, only to have it come back again in 2018.
Bonnie, as only Bonnie could do, continued to shine her light, determined to continue to live her life to the full regardless. This she did. This suburban baysider travelled across continents, from throwing holy colours in the holy city of Varanasi India to climbing Machu Picchu post sacred ceremonies in Peru. From volunteer work studying dolphins with a small private team of dolphin lovers in Croatia to trekking the himalayas in Nepal with her sister. Bonnie's love for the ocean is ever present, having grown up by the beach in beautiful Edithvale. Bonnie had what we'd call the Dolphin spirit at heart, Dolphins being ever present in her life.
During this brief time on earth, Bonnie still managed to serve others while this dis-ease continued to attack her body. Coordinating fundraisers in Australia (SCOOP Foundation) for children in need across India (see pic below), volunteering direclty within schools being a network and bringing joy directly to children.
Ultimately the cancer was too much for her body and it gave up, but not her spirit. Her spirit lives on. Like her amazing Father Paulo, Bonz expansive illuminating conciousness grows far beyond this human experience. Having lost her Dad to the same dis-ease at age 14, she is now reunited soaring the skies with alike angels themselves. Together we farewell Bonz into the heavens in celebration of her beauty. The love and joy she gifted so freely into this world has filled many hearts, and will remain long after her physical self has gone.
Thank you Bonz, for choosing love and joy in this big bizarre and beautiful world. Thank you for being the energy you wished to attract and believing that their is no circumstance that is un-changable. In always stating “I am so well , I am so alive". What courage!
No words will ever explain the love that you have given, your strength for change within self and your continued capacity to spread your love far beyond space and time. Bonnie, you are everywhere and our hearts are full with your love. What a life you have led. Thank you for sharing this life with us, and thank you for opening your arms to the gift of peaceful resolution, healing and miracles.
In honour of this beautiful soul I am starting this Go-Fund-Me. I am reaching out to all my beautiful friends, and friends of friends to help raise money to pay for funeral expenses and outstanding medical expenses. I don't want this left up to her family who have suffered enough. If you can help by donating even just a few dollars, this will help them through this tough time and ease some of the pain.
When I heard the news yesterday, I was devastated. At the same time I was drawn to action. And now I call on you, my friends, to help me help her beautiful family. Please share this with others to see if we, and others, can not only reach the target (which by the way is only a small amount of what is truly required), but blow it out of the water and to honour Bonnie's incredible life on earth. Funding is required asap.
The O'Reilly family have graciously given me permission to help in whatever way I can. As such, I will be managing this fund raiser, in conjunction with her amazing sister Jacqui, so that the family can focus on supporting each other through this tough time and not have to worry about it. Bonnie Lloves, her Facebook name says it all. Love to you Bonnie, we will never forget you. We are forever grateful for you having graced this earth and being ever present in our lives.
