Celebrating the Life and Spirit of Gloria "Glo" Jean Peters

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Gloria "Glo" Jean Peters, who succumbed to Alzheimer's disease on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the age of 70.

Diagnosed in 2020, Glo faced her journey with extraordinary strength, finding light and blessings in every day and sharing her peace and joy with all who knew her.

As a cherished mother of four, a loyal friend, and a beacon of sunshine, Glo touched countless lives with her infectious giggle and warm smile. She made friends wherever she went, and even as Alzheimer's dimmed her memories, her true essence remained vibrant.

Glo's joys included cheeseburgers, swimming, Pepsi, and classic country music from legends like Conway Twitty, Garth Brooks, Loretta Lynn, and Patsy Cline. Her love for fancy hats was unmatched, as she showcased her bubbly personality through them wherever she went.

To honor Glo's vibrant spirit, we are hosting a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 12-3 pm at Richfield Road United Brethren Church , 6259 Richfield Rd, Flint, MI 48506.
