Celebrating Lemont Legend Miss Mary

We started this campaign because many Lemont community members have asked how they can express their appreciation for Miss Mary’s 30+ years of service to our town’s children. Miss Mary Inman was the beloved children’s librarian at the Lemont Public Library for over 30 years, starting when the library was housed in the high school. She has fostered a love of books and learning in thousands of Lemont’s children. Many credit her influence in their choice of studies and careers. Miss Mary is one in a million – always ready with a friendly smile and encouraging word. She remembers every child who has attended her classes and programs, not just their name, but who they are – their interests, what makes them happy. We are asking you to help put a smile on the face of a woman who has put a smile on so many of our faces.  As a community, let us honor a woman who has had such a significant impact on you, your children and your town.  Lemont Loves Miss Mary!
