THE STORY BEHIND THE PROJECT
We are honored and excited that Utahn Conversations is being commemorated into a mural with the Patagonia Salt Lake City Store. Utahn Conversations developed last year in light of the murder of George Floyd. In that moment, we were asking, how can this time of pain become an opportunity for community healing? A team of community leaders came together to guide folks to step into the role of host, and have critical conversations with their friends and family to build safety for Black bodies in our communities. Please join us to learn more about the artist, project, and ways you can bring these conversations to your community.
