Happy Birthday To You..."
As a kid, what was the first thing you thought of when you thought of a "birthday"? Balloons? Cake? Presents? Parties? Imagine if you didn't get to experience these happy memories of your birthday as a child. In the Greater Cincinnati area, thousands of children are homeless. Thousands more live in poverty. And even thousands more face serious illness, disability, and tragedy every day.
Celebrate, Inc. wants to make sure ALL kids have happy birthday memories. Our goal is to give kids a party who would not otherwise get one. We are working with local homeless shelters to begin having monthly parties for children living in the shelters. Depending on the circumstances, we would also like to give children the opportunity to work with a personal party planner and pick out his or her party theme. The party planner will then work her party magic to give the child a birthday he will remember for the rest of his life! And if the child is unable to celebrate with a location party, due to sickness or otherwise, we will give them a "Party in a Box". Each box will include everything from plates, napkins, and utensils to a cake and even to gifts for the birthday girl or boy!
We are really excited to give lots of kids an amazing personalized birthday party. But we need donations to ensure we can give as many kids a wonderful birthday party as possible. Donations will go toward our operational costs, including party supplies, birthday gifts, and general operational expenses. Anything you're willing to donate, even $5, would be greatly appreciated and will go to making a deserving child's birthday dreams come true!! Here's an example of what your gift will achieve:
$10 - helps provide treat bags for a child's birthday
$50 - helps sponsor a deserving child's "Party in a Box" filled with celebration treats, party items, and presents
$75 - helps sponsor goody bags for 50 children at a homeless shelter
$200 - helps sponsor a party for children and their family and friends
These parties will bring much needed joy, hope, and encouragement to so many children. Together, we can transform lives and build brighter futures.
