<div>Nick rolled in—with love, with loyalty, with a laugh that could cut through the darkest day.

<div>26 years in that chair.

</div>

<div>Not because life asked him nicely,

<div>but because a crane fell from the sky and tried to write the ending for him.

<div>But Nick?

<div>Nick flipped the script.

</div>

<div>He lived not just in spite of the pain, but through it.

</div>

<div>He made it part of his punchline, part of his power.

</div>

<div>Dark humor? He had that. Regular humor? Yeah, that too.

</div>

<div>He could make you laugh and think in the same breath.

</div>

<div>He didn’t need legs to stand tall—he was already giant in spirit.

<div>Nick was a father figure to me when I needed one most.

</div>

<div>Not a stand-in. Not a substitute.

</div>

<div>He was my guy.

</div>

<div>He showed up. He stayed.

</div>

<div>And he taught me that strength doesn’t always shout—it shows up quietly,

<div>in loyalty, in jokes, in the way someone checks on you when they don’t have to.

<div>I’ve seen a lot for someone my age.

<div>I’ve been through things people double my age still haven’t processed.

<div>It reminded me that there are still people in this world who choose you—not because they have to,

<div>And that kind of love never really dies.

<div>A warrior who rolled through life with more heart than most people walking.

<div>A father, in every way that mattered.

<div>He had been an accident back in 1999 shortly after graduating from high school and has gone through a lot of medical issues ever since and because of the accident he was paralyzed from the waist down and was considered uninsured by life insurance companies which is making it hard to come up with the money to pay for his final expenses and with being on limited income myself  is why I'm asking for help to give him a decent send off
