GRID Alternatives mission resonates deeply with me, as I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to benefit from renewable energy and job training.

<div>My focus this year is on raising funds for Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico’s electrical infrastructure remains in crisis- suffering from a 33% energy generation shortage and frequent, severe outages. Despite ongoing repairs and modernization funding, the grid is heavily dependent on aging, imported fossil fuel-fired power plants, leading to 15% more interruptions and significantly longer, more frequent outages than anywhere in the continental U.S.
