Help Celebrate Harmoni Rackers Life

Our beautiful Friend, Mother, Sister, Wife and Daughter, Harmoni Lin Racker, the wife of Monty Racker passed away peacefully in her sleep on 2/19/2018 after a year-long battle with breast cancer. Harmoni was a single mother for 16 years, and raised her son Parker alone before she met the love of her life Monty. She was an amazing mother that always put the needs of her son first and worked tirelessly to provide for them. Although Monty had only been divorced 8 months earlier and had many concerns about providing for a new family, and his own children at that time. Monty and Harm took a leap of faith and made a pinky promise that they would be married soon and not let anything get in the way of their love for each other. Harmoni and Monty were married in Las Vegas on January 1st of 2016 with plans of getting sealed to each other in the LDS temple a year later. They planned to have a big party afterwards to celebrate the occasion and bring all of their family and friends together. However, on December 23rd, 8 days before their anniversary, Harm was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer with very low odds of surviving. Due to the timing and gravity of the situation, they put the big reception plans on hold and chose to get sealed earlier than planned on the evening of January 12th with a small group of friends and family members in attendance at the Bountiful temple. Harm’s cancer progressed fast and the chemotherapy and radiation took its toll on her. Due to the strain on her body, she eventually had to give up her profession as a hair dresser at Sheer indulgence which she loved so much. Walking away from a job that she loved was not only hard on her emotionally but the loss of income created financial strain and hardship for her family that relied on her income at that time. Such financial strain caused bills and stresses to accumulate out of the control of Monty and Harmoni. Despite this financial strain, we know that Monty still wants nothing more than to have the family gathering that he promised Harm they would after their temple sealing. Although the mood will be somber, Harmoni will be there in spirit, and would want all of the people she knows and loves to be there to celebrate her life. We want to help Monty and his family make this a funeral that is deserving of his sweet wife Harmoni and the amazing life she lived without them having to worry about the financial implications at this difficult time in their lives.
