Help Us Honor Elizabeth Anne Martindale's Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Elizabeth Anne Martindale, who peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on September 19th, 2025, at the age of 52. True to her generous spirit, she will fulfill her desire to be an organ donor on September 20th, 2025.

About Elizabeth
Elizabeth lived a life of incredible resilience, courage, and unbreakable spirit. Despite facing numerous challenges throughout her years, including a long battle with addiction, she never surrendered. Her fierce determination to overcome her struggles was fueled by one powerful force: her unwavering love for her children and grandchildren. She wanted nothing more than to be present in their lives and fought every day to make that possible.

In recent years, Elizabeth's strength shone in remarkable ways. She returned to school and earned her Medical Coding and Billing Certificate—an achievement that filled her with pride and demonstrated her belief in a brighter future. This accomplishment ignited a new passion: becoming a Drug Abuse Counselor. She dreamed of transforming her own pain into purpose, helping others navigate the same difficult path she had walked.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her free spirit, her brilliant mind that could take apart and fix anything, and her generous heart that always appeared with thoughtful gifts to remind us she was thinking of us. Above all, her children were her greatest source of pride, love, and purpose, while her grandchildren gave her the joy of a second chance at family love.

Our Family
Elizabeth is lovingly survived by her four children—Amy Tyhurst, Rachel Hendrickson, Jeffrey Wardle, and Matthew Naylor—along with her grandsons McKaius and McKaiden Tyhurst, Carson and Marshall Hendrickson, and her precious first granddaughter, Lilia Wardle. She also leaves behind her mother Debi Norton, siblings Christina Norton, Tyler Martindale, and Christopher Martindale, and countless others whose lives she touched.

As her children, we are facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses during this already difficult time of grief. We want to honor our mother with a service that reflects the love, resilience, and hope she brought to all our lives.

How You Can Help
We humbly ask for your support to help cover the costs of Elizabeth's funeral and memorial services. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us give our mother the dignified farewell she deserves. Your generosity will allow us to focus on healing and celebrating her life without the added stress of financial worry.

If you are unable to contribute financially, we deeply appreciate your prayers, kind words, and sharing of this campaign with others who may be able to help.

A Personal Note from Heidi Naylor
My name is Heidi Naylor, and I have been blessed with the extraordinary privilege of adopting Liz's youngest son, Matthew. It has been deeply sacred to witness her children come together during this difficult time to honor their mother's memory and transform their profound grief into something truly beautiful—something that will touch and change countless lives. I am immeasurably grateful for the gift that Matt has brought to my life and for the privilege of loving all of Liz's children.

The funds we raise will go toward covering Liz's final funeral expenses, cremation costs and supporting a celebration of life that will be held on her upcoming birthday—a fitting tribute to the remarkable woman she was!

A Final Message
Elizabeth taught us that no matter how many times life knocks you down, you get back up. She showed us that love for family can overcome any obstacle. As we say goodbye to our mother, we carry forward her legacy of resilience, her passion for helping others, and her unconditional love.

Run free and fly fast, Mom. We love you always.

From the children of Elizabeth Anne Martindale,
Amy Tyhurst, Rachel Hendrickson, Jeffrey Wardle, and Matthew Naylor
