<div>Support Spoken Black Girl: Issue 6 – "BEAUTY" – A Revolution in Words &amp; Art

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Dear SBG Community,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For Black women, femmes, and gender-expansive people, beauty is more than appearance; it’s survival and resistance. It’s an invitation to softness and a celebration of authenticity. That’s why Spoken Black Girl Issue 6 Beauty is creating space for this pivotal conversation on Black women, beauty, and wellness.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><span>Spoken Black Girl is back with Issue 6: BEAUTY, a powerful exploration of mental health, wellness, and the radical act of defining beauty on our own terms.</span><br />
</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>But we need your help to bring this vision to life.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><b>Why This Issue Matters

</b>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>Society has long dictated what beauty "should" look like—especially for Black women and femmes. But we know the truth: Beauty is the way we heal, grow and reclaim ourselves.
</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This issue will feature raw, transformative poetry, essays, stories, and art that ask:

</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>- How has mental health shaped your relationship with beauty?

</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>- What rituals help you embrace self-love in a world that denies it to you?

</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>- How do you define beauty beyond oppression?

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your contributions will create a sacred space for Black women’s voices to be seen, heard, and celebrated—exactly as they are.

</div>
