<div>On the night of August 30, 2025, my sister, Amanda Mclendon, was tragically killed in a shooting in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. She was only 25 years old, with so much life ahead of her. Our family is devastated by this sudden, senseless loss.

To us, she will always be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and her spirit.
