Celbridge Boys Club was setup by Darren Scanlon in March 2023 to help tackle the rising rates of suicides amongst men and the number of young people struggling with addiction in our rapidly growing town

Pieta house report that hopelessness and loneliness are main factors for people phoning in who are feeling depressed and suicidal. In a world that is so populated it is extremely sad that people feel so isolated. Our club is a great way for men to get active with other men from the local area and feel that belonging that comes from being a member of a sports club. You don't need to be from Celbridge or surrounding area to attend our events !

We are a not for profit / voluntary group. Any funds received would go directly towards resources for the group. We need to increase our visibility both on and offline to reach as many men as possible. We would love to have a website up and running before the summer is over and have plans for branded clothing very soon
