Cedric (CJ) Watson Jr.

My name is Shawn Mayes and On December 31, 2022, our son Cedric Watson Jr. known to most people as (CJ) life ended tragically due to gun violence. God blessed our family with 20 years of life with our son.

Cedric was one of the most kindhearted–loving individual. Cedric was dearly loved by many and was well-known for making people smile. Cedric was very happy and free-spirited; he was looking forward to becoming a first-time father to his unborn son Cedric L. Watson III. Due in February 2023.

The family did not get enough time with Cedric and we will genuinely miss him in our lives. The family plans to celebrate his life and lay him to rest. We are asking for donations, to cover funeral and burial expenses during this difficult time because no parent should ever have to bury their child.
