Flood Relief, Cedar Bayou Area

Record rainfall and flooding wreaked havoc on several residential areas outside of Houston, in the southeast part of Texas, specifically in the Baytown area, where the majority of my family lives.

This is their neighborhood.

Our friends outside of the Cedar Bayou/Baytown/Texas area asking how they might help, so my cousins and I are fundraising with the promise that every cent that we raise will be given to families directly impacted.
My Baytown family has lived there all their lives and they know so many families in need right now.  On Tuesday, Aug. 29, they risked their lives beside other local citizens, to rescue as many as possible during this crisis.
Please help this community; with your compassion and support, they'll rebuild even stronger

Receiving a total of 51.88 inches, Cedar Bayou, TX now holds the rainfall record for the continental U.S.

Rebuilding lives is going to take more than money, but for those who cannot be here to physically help, it is a powerful message of solidarity.
