<div>The success of the introduction of the steel pans and Fungi at Cedar injected real enthusiasm and momentum to our music programmes, and revealed huge demand for involvement across the community with students, staff, parents and the wider community engaging enthusiastically!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We would love to see that growth continue and be able to provide additional <strong>culturally relevant community-based programs to benefit our students and the whole community.</strong>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>The biggest limiting factor on growth is available <strong>space for performing arts instruction and performance</strong>. Cedar currently has only one music room to accommodate all primary and secondary music classes and clubs, and instrument storage space has become a pressing issue.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>In order to continue to grow these initiatives and lay the foundations for the next generation, we need develop <strong>a dedicated Performing Arts Centre at Cedar</strong>. The proposed plan adds flexible tuition space in two classrooms upstairs, while providing a dedicated auditorium and stage for music, dance and drama.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As Cedar is a <strong>non-profit organisation </strong>which runs on very fine operating margins, we <strong>rely on fundraising initiatives to realise capital projects and development.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We hope you will help us with this important development so we can continue to provide excellent facilities for tuition and performance, and can expand our elective and after school clubs with culturally relevant community-based programs which enrich not only our students, but our wider community as a whole.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All funds raised will be transferred to the school, and used to develop and equip the proposed Arts Centre at Cedar.
