CED Orphanage Bus Fund

We are raising funds for a new bus for the children of CED orphanage run by Lama Tenzin Choegyal. Lama Tenzin has been rescuing children from the Dolpo region of the Himalaya Mountains since 2001. The brave monk and his children live in the safe and loving orphanage Lama Tenzin created. He also has provided them with a private school education and a real future. If we are able to raise money for a new bus, he will not have to sacrifice funds to help his girls attend college (the first people in history from the Upper Dolpo region to attend college).
The bus they previously had broke down and so they are limited in the way they can transport the children to and from school and for transporting these kids countless places. Transportation is a real issue where they live.

$1000+: Incense, Prayer Flag, Wrist Mala, Tara and Singing Bowl all aquired by Lama Tenzin in Nepal. Plus a Seattle dinner hosted by John & Amy Richards and Lama Tenzin in August. We will also host a pre-dinner at this level for some 1:1 time with both the hosts and Lama Tenzin. The Lama will cook dinner and lead a meditation along with a musical guest (space limited).
$500+: Incense, Prayer Flag, Wrist Mala, and Singing Bowl all aquired by Lama Tenzin in Nepal. Plus a Seattle dinner hosted by John & Amy Richards and Lama Tenzin in August. The Lama will cook dinner and lead a meditation along with a musical guest (space limited).

Clearly any donation comes with a hefty dose of good karma and the knowledge these kids have been helped!
Amy and I have been donating and working with the Lama directly for years both as fundraisers and champions of his efforts. My family has travelled to the orphanage and can assure you that the funds are well used and not a penny wasted. His work has inspired me beyond words. We're honored to help him and his children in any way we can.
