Cecilia's Medical Fund

I have created this fundraiser for my mom who is currently battling cancer. This fundraiser would help tremendously in the process, surgery, and recovery costs. Anything will help! For those who know my mom, or have simply met my mom, know how much a caring, loving generous woman she is. She's always around to help a lending hand and never gives “No” for an answer. She’ll always be there for you or anyone no matter what. Being raised by her, she was always working nonstop. Taking care of me and others in our family was always her main thing to do in life. Making sure and ensuring that me and our family were well taken care of financially and physically has always been her priority. She was always the strong independent woman everyone knows her to be.. After her accident at work in 2008 at Bayer Pharmaceutical Laboratories, where she proudly worked for 15 years; she had to take unwanted early retirement which most thought she did but in reality she was placed on permanent disability with no questions asked which she had to accept with no choice. She has made many sacrifices and had to have a titanium plate permanently in her body, in which she had to endure pain daily for the rest of her life.. Yet she still managed day by day to be selfless and to still be there for everyone no matter what regardless of her current situation. During the year of 2010 she was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes. Sadly she accepted the situation knowing another medical problem she had to deal with. In the year of 2016 sadly we lost my Mom’s mother. Then on October 23rd, 2017 three days before my 30th birthday. She was diagnosed with stage (2) breast cancer which progressed to stage (4). Throughout this ordeal she has endured seven minor strokes and two heart attacks, lung, liver, kidney failures and slight jaundice due to the reactions of the many chemo and radiation treatments prescribed by her oncologist. But yet she still continues to fight and strive on without giving up hope… My mother does everything for me and is Everything to me. It's time we do the same in return.
