Ceaza /Daniel's fight against Multiple Sclerosis

Donation protected
As most of you know our dear friend Daniel aka Ceaza Leon has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis earlier this year. This has been a complete shock to all of his family and friends.

MS is currently classified as an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord). The disease attacks myelin, the protective covering of the nerves, causing inflammation and often damaging the myelin. Myelin is necessary for the transmission of nerve impulses through nerve fibers. If damage to myelin is slight, nerve impulses travel with minor interruptions; however, if damage is substantial and if scar tissue replaces the myelin, nerve impulses may be completely disrupted, and the nerve fibers themselves can be damaged.

MS is unpredictable and can cause symptoms such as extreme fatigue, lack of coordination, weakness, tingling, impaired sensation, vision problems, bladder problems, cognitive impairment and mood changes. Its effects can be physical, emotional and financial. Currently there is no cure, but each day researchers are learning more about what causes MS and are zeroing in on ways to prevent it. The base cost of disease-modifying therapies for MS varies widely and typically falls in the range of $20,000 to $40,000 per year.

Daniel is an inspiration to the city of Toronto. He has giving back to the city by gathering the community in various locations across Toronto to celebrate life, love and joy amongst the residents of this great city that we call home.

We are here to help him financially. No one needs to face MS alone!

Please donate and help Ceaza fight Multiple Sclerosis.
