We created Rocket4theCure in order to raise money for breast cancer research. We hope this new and creative project will attract a crowd of all ages, and allow us to combine our love for model rocketry with community citizenship.
On launch day, we will break the Guinness World Record for the most model rockets launched simultaneously. The current record holder is Jacob Smith, who launched 3,130 rockets in College Station, Texas. We aim to launch 4,000 rockets in the five second window allotted by Guinness.

he launch date is scheduled for October 26th, with a rain date of November 7th. Location is the Chesterfield County Fair Grounds. The event will run from 4:00 to 6:00pm, with the launch at dusk. All are invited to attend!
