Delaney Grace Roberts

I have made a very special friend.  Her name is Delaney and she is an amazing 7 year old young lady.  Delaney was adopted from Rostov, Russia in 2010 at 3.9 years old by Debi a single mom who is a teacher here local.  She couldn't hear, breath well, walk or eat anything but stage 1 baby food.  She was 15 lbs and 26in long.  Debi was told that Delaney would never walk, talk or eat normally.  She has proven them wrong on EVERY level.  She is the kind of child who embraces challenges with determination and persistance.  She makes up her mind and she goes for it.  Delaney recently had surgery at the Scottish Rites hospital on July 1 and was home July 2!  She's doing well now. Still afraid to put pressure, but should be doing it soon.  Fitting for prosthesis Aug 6. Takes 2-4 weeks for completion. Then in hospital 5 days for therapy and training.  Debi has adopted two daughters she receives no financial assistance and is truly an inspiration herself, she is the very definition of Mom and a blessing to know.

NEED: Found out she needs new ear tubes because she has scar tissue, plugged tubes, infection behind ears. Getting new tubes which will help with hearing loss. BUT... She has permanent hearing loss and needs hearing aides. Insurance will pay maximum $1,000 which might get one hearing aide. So, she needs to raise $1500 ish to get hearing aides paid for.

First I ask for prayer- There is absolutly nothing more powerful then prayer.  We are told in Matthew 18:20 For when two or three gather in my name I am with them. Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
