C.E & Mindys devastating flood loss

We have 12 flooded home but six homes with families displaced that are the priority. My Brother C.E(Calvin) and sister in law Mindy are completely devastated over the loss they are  enduring from Hurricane Harvey.   C.E recently put all of their family savings into remodeling their rental homes in Santa Fe.  This is their only source of income for a family of 5.  They have lost everything! All of their rental homes are under water, his equipment, tools, etc.  They do not have flood insurance beacuse they where dropped due to being within 20 miles of shoreline.  This is their livelihood and everything he has worked his whole life for.  As the water started to rise Calvin took the only cash he had with him as he started to rescue by boat everyone on his street. When he got everyone safe he realized his pocket had opened and his money was gone. On top of this their middle son Collin underwent testing at Children's medical center in Dallas last week and they discovered his kidneys are only functioning 68%.  He will required further testing to find out what is going on.  As you can imagine they are speechless and at a loss for words as we continue to watch it rain and cause more damage.   When the rain stops and the water can finally drain we will start trying to salvage what we can. They have many renters that are also homeless with children that have also lost everything.  Please help my brother and sister in law rebuild and start piecing their lives back together.
