Project Description:
In November 2011, the Middlesex Islanders Youth Hockey Organization made an appearance at the Massachusetts State Playdowns. After months of preparation, the U19AAA girls hockey team entered the tournament seeded first in their division, and took the title of U19AAA Tier 2 Massachusetts state champions. With this title came an opportunity to compete in the National Tournament in Irving, Texas. The team will be traveling to Irving to compete at the end of March with high hopes of winning the tournament.
The parents, coaching staff, and players are putting our heads together to make sure that each player has the opportunity to compete, but as you know, these trips are expensive.
Project Rewards
Rewards for donating:
-We will be taking a banner with us that will be present on our bench for each game. We would like to recognize all who contribute to making it possible for the girls to compete. On the banner, we will incorporate all your well wishes to the girls.
-We will also be holding a banquet before the girls leave for competition, and welcome all donors to attend.
