6mos Discipleship w/ ATP

Sometimes it’s hard to trust God, but He promises in His word that if we follow His direction He will bless our faithfulness to Him.
God has made it crystal clear to me that my plan was not His plan as far as school goes. I had intended to attend Boise Bible College this fall. In just a few weeks in fact, I would have been moving to Idaho, beginning school and changing the cores of my life. Just recently however, God spoke into my heart, opened my mind and gave me a spiritual slap in the face by showing me that Boise is not where I need to be at this point in time in my life.
God brought a family of old friends to our church that are starting a six month discipleship program called ATP ( www.Among the People.org ). It is located in Lewiston, Maine and begins August 28th. It was right away after hearing about this program I knew I needed to be a part of it. I felt God tug at my heart and it was a tug I could not ignore. Three months of this program are intensive biblical training and hands on learning how to be the hands and feet of Christ. The latter three month are the team of students and leaders traveling around the United States with the goal of making Christ relevant in America again.
I have to say that God has truly blown me away by His faithfulness in revealing Himself to me and my family in this sudden way. His finger prints are all over this change in my life. This is a giant leap of faith and unlike a credited college, grants and FASTA do not apply. Because is the beginning of this program (ATP) there is not funds for scholarships either. I must raise my own way to attend ATP. For this entire program, food, board, flights, etc. it is $4000. Obviously, this is a large amount of money to raise in a short amount of time, but God is faithful, and has proven Himself faithful time and time again. He will provide the means for me to go.
As family and friends I ask for your support. More than anything, prayer. God has shown me how huge the power of prayer is and I can tell you that when prayer warriors are praying for me, I sure can feel it! Many changes are about to take place and God is going to be at work in changing many people’s hearts and lives. If you feel lead and are able, financial support is very much needed as well, and a big part of me going to Maine. God is not limited by man made money however, and will come through as He always does.
To God be ALL the glory though out this entire process. Thank you again for you love and encouragement.
