CDA Slammers FC-Cruz G2009/Cerritos squad flight 1 AKA "Baby Slammers" is an amazing group of talented and skillful little athletes and are one of the top soccer teams in their age bracket in all of Southern California.
They just wrapped up an incredible 2017-2018 SCDSL season of league play, participated & successfully competed in various tournaments, & had a great run at the 2018 Cal South State Cup going undefeated in bracket play and ultimately becoming finalists in the tournament's Presidents division.
Under the direction of Coach Joel Cruz & Assistant Coach Zeke Bermudez this team has grown and developed as a strong unit. The majority of girls have been playing on this team for three years and all truly care for eachother like family. They are are a bunch of hard working & fun loving little girls that are passionate about soccer. They have strong work ethic, give it their all, play with heart, and never give up!
They are looking forward to another season of great competition and are ready to put it all on the line as they head to Denver, Colorado this Summer to compete in the 2018 Premier Super Copa. This tournament is skill based and invitation only competition which means only the best teams take part. We are humbly asking for your support to help these little ladies be able to take part in what many describe as one of the best youth soccer tournaments in the Nation.
Tournaments such as the Premier Super Copa provide youth players a first class opportunity to develop as an individual player who in turn have to play their part as a much larger unit. The skills that they will develop & the unique experiences they will be a part of will create memories for a life time.
CDA Slammers FC is a non-profit organization ID #81-0754864 that depends solely on sponsorship donations and a dedicated group of volunteers. The goal of the CDA Slammers FC organization is to help student-athletes even youngers like our Baby Slammers succeed both academically and athletically and in an effort to provide the best experience for these players, promote good sportsmanship and individual growth in a positive environment we must appeal to you for financial support.
Your donation/sponsorship will provide each player on this team the opportunity to travel to Denver, Colorado and represent Southern California at one of the top soccer tournaments against the best competition this Summer. All sponsorship and donations will go towards supporting the team's travel expenses/airline fares & hotel accommodations.
