We are reaching out to you for your support of SPIN Café.
SPIN is a local non-profit organization that Serves People In Need through a diverse range of community engagement programs including: free meal services, volunteer opportunities, vocational training, community gathering space, resource referral, and technology access. Our future plans include free laundry and shower facilities.
This month is particularly special because we are celebrating 1 year of feeding people at SPIN. We currently serve meals to an average of 50-60 hungry individuals every Tuesday and Thursday evening. To date we have provided approximately 5380 meals to children, youth, families, and single adults.
In order for us to continue our current level of service, we need your help. Monthly operating expenses for SPIN are $2700 ($32,600 annually). This covers our facilities, utilities, insurance, permits, supplies, and meal related expenses.
We believe that a healthy and thriving community includes the services provided by SPIN Café. For this reason we are asking you to consider becoming a sponsor of our efforts. By making a contribution to SPIN, whether it is $5 or $500, you can make it possible for us to provide these critical services for our friends and neighbors who are struggling to meet their basic needs.
