In the wake of the events in Parkland, I am called to continue to spread the word about the importance of creating School Families. The Conscious Discipline School Family is built on a healthy family model – the goal of which is the optimal development of all members. It is based on safety, connection and problem-solving.
As a young mother, I found Conscious Discipline. It has helped me navigate through the trials and tribulations of raising my own boys who are now both in middle school. It has afforded me a growth mindset and taught me how to be resilient. It qualified me to provide the effective behavioral interventions necessary for my students to experience success academically, socially and emotionally. That has translated into healthier and happier families. It is the culture of The Learning Loft.
Conscious Discipline is the training educators MUST experience to help ALL children become safe, engaged and productive member of their schools and society. In order to help under-resourced educators, parents and communities get this training and resources, I am committed to raising $17,000.00 for Conscious Discipline CARES, Inc.
Conscious Discipline CARES:
- Provides professional development for educators and schools who can otherwise not afford it
- Provides post-trauma training to schools and communities
- Provides trainings to help adults improve the quality of children’s lives for generations
