WHO WE ARE
CCYM is an interdenominational team of Christians drawn from differing church backgrounds whose common purpose is to minister to children & teenagers throughout Ireland, bringing them to an understanding of God's love for them.
CCYM is a registered charity (#11785) and is not affiliated to one particular church group or organization. CCYM have been running Summer Camps and other similar events for over 25 years in Ireland.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in God the Father and in His risen Son, Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit who is now present upon the earth. We believe in God's plan for salvation, healing and the New Life that only Jesus can bring. We believe that the Bible is God's word and we encourage children and teenagers to explore it, question it and discover God's plan!
WHY WE HAVE SUMMER CAMPS AND EVENTS
We believe that children are an important part of God's plan now, not just when they become older and we believe that He loves them and wants to communicate with them. Summer Camps provide an ideal environment for young people to relax, play, make friends and seek God at their own pace and level of understanding. It is important to CCYM to see children and teenagers returning to their own churches, strengthened and encouraged to share His love!
WHAT WE DO AT SUMMER CAMPS & EVENTS
Play and recreation, visual Bible teaching, praise and worship, arts and crafts, drama, games and training workshops are just some of the many activities we provide at summer camps and in our work with other similar groups throughout the year.
WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL BE USED FOR
As always, CCYM Summer Camps are non-profit making and 100% volunteer based. We aim to make the summer camps available to all families, regardless of background or circumstance, and our mission is to keep our application fees as low as possible, which has only possible with the financial support and generosity of church groups and friends of CCYM.
Your donation this year will be used to partially fund the rental of accommodation, purchase of food, medical supplies, and sports equipment in advance of the Summer Camps in order to keep our application fees as low as possible, as well as to help us to sponsor families and children who are unable to pay all or some of the application fees. Your donation will be used solely for the benefit of the children who attend Summer Camps, who are always our primary focus, and the Board of CCYM would be extremely grateful for any donation you can make to help us continue to hold Summer Camps!
