Jessica's Recovery Fund

As some of you may know, my partner Jessica was involved in a severe hit-and-run car accident on her way to work early Sunday morning. Her car was totaled, and the perpetrator fled the scene on foot. We are extremely lucky and grateful that she is alive. Although all of the MRIs, X-rays, and CT scans came back clear, Jess has a concussion and is in pretty bad pain. It will take her some time to heal while trying to balance her work and school obligations.

Unfortunately, because Jessica’s car is completely totaled, she now has no way to commute to work or school. And, because the perpetrator ran away from the scene, it’s unlikely that Jess will be able to get any reparation to help afford a new vehicle and her recovery costs. It is crucial that she is able to get another car soon, and without considerable disposable income (since she is paying for tuition), we need all the help we can get. We are seeking donations to help Jessica to buy a used car as soon as possible.
