That's right! I am driving a backhoe from Brisbane 2 Townsville 2 Toowoomba 2 Albury 2 Parliament House in Canberra and back 2 Brisbane for the 'It's NOT Your Fault’ National Campaign for kids who have been affected by domestic violence, loss & trauma.
The purpose of this trip is to promote awareness for these children, to let them know they are NOT alone, & to teach people exactly what happens to children when we lose ourselves to hatred, anger, hurt & fear & act out in front of our kids.
Too many children take their own lives, or create unhealthy & long term damaging beliefs & behaviours.
The Backhoe will now depart 10th Jan 2019 from Western Brisbane, 2019, heading North to Townsville 2 Canberra. I aim to arrive for Parliament's first sitting of the year in February to help gain support for a greater National Campaign for 'It's NOT Your Fault 4 Kids Inc.
Money raised will go towards machine, diesel, emergency breakdowns, support vehicle, any marketing material needed to get our message out. Any of these items or services may also be donated, & any funds leftover will be used to 'Pay It Forward' for our next retreat for up to 10 kids in early March, 2019.
We have recently received our registration as a Not For Profit & are now ready for donations to run this fund-raising event & to continue running wellness retreats for these kids.
