Welcome to the fundraising page for Ethan's Place. This is where a donation can be made to help us launch and continue our nonprofit organization that will not only benefit Ethan, but also help other children with disabilities.
Our son Ethan has been battling a rare form of epilepsy since he was 5 months old. He continues to have many seizures daily and at this point has not been able to develop or meet any of his milestones. Jess and I continue to stay positive and give him the best life he can have.
Thanks to the help of our enormous support system, our dreams of creating an organization that will help children with disabilities can become a reality. As Ethan's father, making a decision to end a career in order to care for my son will not only benefit Ethan, but will hopefully also benefit as many lives as we can touch. I am up for the task of running ETHAN'S PLACE full time and with your help, we can make miracles happen. Something as simple as providing a bath chair or other special needs equipment when denied by an insurance company, can be life changing for a family. Helping someone get early intervention services or navigate the medicaid paperwork can lift a tremendous burden for a family. Providing dinners and hotel stays while your child is in the hospital can allow parents to focus on caregiving, instead of the financial burden. The list of services goes on and this can all take place with your help. Jess and I are committed and excited to embark on this journey with you.
Our first charity event will be on August 22nd at The Nest in East Meadow. This event will be sponsored and hosted by Team Leest. Special thanks to the amazing Team Leest!!
