League of Lucas is a community rallying around a bright, vivacious, silly 4 year old rockstar named Lucas Fredericks.
Lucas' Father asked that I set up a site to gather little warriors to join their Family in their fight for life. I tried to think of something heartfelt to write for this page, but nothing can match the power and anguish already written by Michael Fredericks in his call for Prayer...
"PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY FOR LUCAS! What started off as a belly pain in the evening 10 days ago, now has us at Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids looking at a cancer prognosis for a tumor Lucas has in his belly. We've been a whirlwind since we had a CT scan in Lansing Wednesday. Since then we've been admitted to Sparrow and here. They're going to do bone marrow biopsy and a tumor biopsy today..., and we will know more Monday and put together plan of action. I need two things from all of you, and anyone you can share this with:
1. Huge prayers from you guys. Pray that it is not in his bone morrow, pray it hasn't spread, pray we can fix this quick, and pray for him.
2. Send him all the healing power you can to attack this tumor. Send it as healing light, ninjas, t-rex's, bulldozers, piranhas, alligators or any thing else that can attack and destroy the tumor!!!
My God, he is only 4 years old!
I will send updates as I get them.
Send him healing powers and please pray for our baby!
