CBM RISE

CBM Rise Campaign is raising funds to benefit the people of Vanua Levu, the second largest island in Fiji who have just been severely devastated by Category 5 Tropical Cyclone Yasa in the last 24 hours.  CBM stands for Cakaudrove, Bua and Macuata, the three provinces of Vanua Levu.  Pictured here is an elderly woman from the island of Kia with her family today trying to pick up the pieces of what is left of their family home (PC: Una Cagilaba).  Hundreds of homes, crops and livestock have been utterly destroyed overnight by TC Yasa.  The funds received will be used for immediate food needs as well as transportation of donated household items, linen, beddings and clothes from other parts of Fiji that we are collecting.  This support will go far as already the hardships imposed by COVID has been far reaching to our rural communities, and with your generosity, compassion and love, will surely make the difference in the lives of our people in Vanua Levu.
