CBCP Rugby Jerseys

"I feel like I'm a part of something bigger," one of our rookie players said this year. Rugby gives our students a safe and fun outlet to be physical and compete. Our Rugby student-athletes are leaders, innovators, and role models to those both students on the field and in the classroom.
Approximately 98% of our population (1100) are students of color, 89% qualify for free or reduced lunch services, and 12% receive special education services. Our school serves students on Chicago's west side.

Our students face many challenges at home as well as in school. students need an outlet. Rugby teaches more than just sports skills, they give us skills for life: discipline, honor, rigor, and respect to name a few. Rugby gives our students skills to know that transformation change is possible.

Our team has only a half set of jerseys. When we need to sub a player in, they have to pass their jersey off. We also have to share jerseys with the boys team. Your donation will help our team have confidence on the field. 

Any extra money will be put directly into the girls rugby team for new equiptement (new balls, water bottles, etc). 

With every donation, we will send out a 2017-2018 schedule so you can come cheer us on in our new jerseys!
