Stormi King needs YOUR help

In the past month, my apartment burned down, I have been sleeping on an air mattress in my friends' living room, my dog is being housed in Olympia 1 1/2 hours away, my cat has been moved from home to home, my car has been broken into and all of my last remaining possessions stolen.

This is not why I need help.  That should tell you something.

I have been searching desparately for a new apartment for me, my dog, and my cat who I have been estranged from for a month.  I finally have found a place that is barely affordable and though they don't accept large dogs have taken pity on me because of the aforementioned last 30 days.

Here's the kicker.

I found out today upon going to drop off my deposit, that I have an eviction notice on my credit NOT FROM ME but from my ex-husband asshole who I have been estranged from for years.  He was evicted long after we were separated and divorced but the credit agency doesn't care.

In order for me to finally get an apartment that is graciously being afforded to me, I have to pay a several thousand dollar eviction damages claim.  The credit agency will not compromise the claim.

I need your help.

Anything helps.  And unfortunately (and you know how Seattle apartment-searching is these days), I need to get this resolved in the next 48 hours.  Time is absolutely essential.

It took a lot for me to even ask this.  And it would mean the world to me for any help you can give.
