The hurricane is past, and the island, while beaten and battered, is still in pretty good shape. Building damage is fixable, and the park should be able to open again soon. Let the clean up begin!
Cayo Costa is taking a direct hit from Hurricane Irma today. This beautiful, unspoiled island is suffering catastrophic damage, and will need lots of effort and supplies to clear and rebuild. If you can help, please do.
Jan Achenbach and I will be taking supplies and working as volunteers. We will use all funds received to purchase tools and supplies to help in the clean up effort. We will be funding our travels and living expenses ourselves.
I'm setting this page up for people, like me, who want to help in whatever way they can.
