Cavan Hospital 4x4x48 Run

Over the past 3 months, the staff in Cavan General Hospital have been working 24 hours a day in the fight against Covid 19. 

While nothing we do can compare to what they've done for us all, we can all do our part to thank them.

With that in mind, we've chosen a fundraising challenge that reflects the 24 hour a day workload of hospital staff.

Starting June 4th, the four of us are each going to run 4 miles, once every 4 hours, for 48 hours. 

By the afternoon of Saturday, June 6th we'll have each completed 48 miles in 48 hours.

That's just under 2 marathons each and 192 miles in total, which is the distance from Cavan to Cork.

The funds raised will be used to purchase gifts for hospital staff from local stores and restaurants. The exact gifts will be determined by how much we raise.

This means that your donation will:
1.  Give hospital staff a much-needed reward 
2. Support local businesses during this very difficult time
