Cattail Gathering 2019

Donation protected
The Cattail Gathering  is a chance to learn about wilderness skills such as friction fire, wildlife tracking, flint knapping, wild edible and useful plants, woodworking, herbalism, campcraft, nature awareness, as well as self-sufficiency and homesteading.  Over the course of the weekend, talented instructors in these areas will lead workshops on the landscape of White Memorial Foundations 4000 acres of diverse forest and wetland.

Having been heavily involved with the Maine Primitive Gathering and the New England Primitive Skills Gathering for many years, the organizer of Cattail created this gathering to continue the tradition of creating community around a mutual love of living and learning close to Nature.

Bring your family, camp out, spend time by the fire, make lifelong friends, learn a ton and feel at home.  We can’t wait to see you and learn from you!

This is a drug, alcohol and firearms free event!

This Gofundme campaign is a way for you to preregister for the Gathering in order to help support the upfront costs.  Some people have also donated above the entrance fee to further support the hard work and overhead costs that goes into this community event.  See below for details on registration and donations and the Gatherings website  for other logistics and questions.
