Hi I'm Cat and I'm trying to raise money for endometriosis surgery.

Ive had severe period pain all my life. However, in 2020 I became severely ill with endometriosis and the pain was so severe that it made life hard to live. I saved up all my money and went to get private surgery in 2022 which gave me my life back and I'm so grateful for.

Sadly I am now experiencing severe symtoms past my diaphragm and into my ribs and chest. After speaking with a specialist surgeon team at Lister Hospital in London. It is clear that I have deep infiltrating endometriosis in my diaphragm and into my thoracic cavity as well as regrowth on my ovaries, bowels and appendix.

Unfortunately endometriosis on the NHS is a postcode lottery. I explained my symptoms and what I thoguht was happening to mostly be met with blank stares or told to have a baby to fix it (very outdated advice).

This means I'm looking at funding for another specialist lap surgery and VATs surgery to address the pain in my lungs and ribs.

I need to pay for consultations, imaging such as ultrasounds and MRIs and blood work done

I will get more accurate quotes for surgery after I have had imaging done but it is looking like roughly 14,000 at the moment for surgery and 6,000 for all my imaging and tests.
